Malachi Robert was born at 8.55 pm on Thursday 4th December weighing 8 lb 3 oz. (Some of the staff did make it to work in the end).

Thursday 4th December, Bradford Royal Infirmary. "Sorry, you can't have your baby today. We've got no staff. Have you seen the weather?!"
